The Justice Will Be Served! (JWBS) Campaign organizes delivery, nail salon, restaurant, hotel, deli, and other service workers together from different communities across New York and the tri-state area to challenge long hours, forced overtime, low wages and other sweatshop conditions in this rapidly growing sector. Following the example of Chinatown restaurant workers, the JWBS Campaign is expanding to various industries to demand labor law enforcement, the right to a 40-hour workweek, the end to tip-stealing by employers, and the repeal of destructive anti-worker legislation, such as the employer sanctions provision. JWBS is sponsored by Chinese Staff & Workers’ Association, 318 Restaurant Workers Union, Flushing Worker Center and the National Mobilization Against SweatShops.
